Preston Energy | Who Uses Natural Gas?



It is a kind of question which doesn’t have any specific answer that who uses natural gas in this era. Now the question is who doesn’t use natural gas! It is widely used product in The United States. Simply every person of United State’s uses natural gas. Of course it is obvious that industries are the biggest consumer of natural gas. The companies took this gas and burn it to produce many household and usable products that we use every day in our life. Not only this but also natural gas is also used as an ingredient, or feedstock, in fertilizer, glue, paint, laundry detergent, and many other products we use in our daily life.
The next biggest users of natural gas are residences. Most of the dwellers use natural gas for cooking, water heating and many other house hold chores. Commercial buildings use natural gas widely. All stores, offices, schools, churches, and hospitals use this too. 

Energy Information Administration shows a data that reveals the percentage of use of natural gas. According to their statistics we know that,

Transportation 2.9%
Industrial 32.4%
Commercial 13.6%
Residential 20.8%
Electricity 30.2% 

The other specification of natural gas is that it can generate electricity too. Many utilities are creating new power plants that glow natural gas because it is fresh burning and natural gas plants can make electricity quickly when it is needed for periods of peak demand. Automobiles also use natural gas, because, it is more usable fuel than others. Drivers get flexible to drive their car by this fuel. We know that natural gas is cleaner burner than other fuels as well as gasoline. There is a condition to use it in a car. You have to have all requirements and equipments to use natural gas in your car. That is why Preston Energy interested about natural gas.
